Essilor lenses (crizalalize)
There have been so many advances in spectacles lens technology over recent years, we now have choices of thinner, lighter, and flatter lenses which can be supplied with a variety of coatings such as a hard coating or anti-reflection coating.
We are happy to listen to your requirements and discuss with you which lenses are most suitable for your needs and prescription. Thinner lenses can be up to 42% thinner and 45% lighter than standard lenses and they are available in single vision, bifocal or varifocal.
Coatings are improving all the time, we are now using the newest anti-reflection coating from Essilor, which combines great anti-reflective properties with an easy clean surface, this represents a great improvement on previous AR coatings.
We use Essilor lenses which include the Varilux range of lenses. Within this range there are varifocals to suit all prescriptions and frame sizes.
From the entry level design to varifocals specific for shallow frames to varifocals that are tailor made for the patient to give the best possible clarity and field of vision at all distances.
